Setup Mill Machinist - 1st Shift, Air-Conditioned, Opportunities for Overtime!

Rapidly growing firearm manufacturer looking for a setup machinist to join its team!

You will be joining a small team of great people who you will get to know while having the opportunity to take leadership over your own growth in a dynamic environment.

You will be an operator on our 3 and 4-axis vertical and horizontal mills. You will be responsible for:

• setting up the machines and programs,
• inspecting parts as they come off the machine to ensure proper tolerances;
• performing tool offset adjustments and other on-machine program edits based on in-process QC;
• inspecting tools for wear and breakage and performing tool changes;
• performing daily cleaning and maintenance on the machine (managing chip accumulation in the chip bin, washing down the machine cabinet, filling up the coolant tank, etc.);

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years' experience as a setup machinist
• Forklift certification or experience a plus
