IOK Technology principals have been a part of a long and proud history of service to citizens and country since 1940.  Ted Brown, the original founder and owner started the business as a precision machining and tool making shop.  Located in Rising Sun, Indiana on the Ohio River, the Company started operations in a plant that played a prominent part in the United States defense industry.   IOK will continue the elements that have been a staple of the company throughout the years.

Benny Garland and his wife Jane have extensive experience in the Industries that will be served by IOK Technology.  IOK will become heavily involved in the cage mill business, doing most of the repair work for Stedman cage mills.  “Cage mill” is the name that Nathan Stedman gave to a new type of crusher that he patented in 1894.  Early cage mills were designed exclusively to crush coal, but many other applications have been discovered including chemicals, fertilizer, stone, and agriculture lime.  More recent demands have seen cage mills adapted for a variety of applications in the recycling industry. 

IOK’s location is local to several steel manufacturers in Indiana, Kentucky and  Ohio.  IOK will have the equipment and expertise to do the type of repair work that steel mills require.  In the steel mill service line of business, IOK will have a dedicated outside sales force, and the addition of leading-edge manufacturing capabilities.

IOK has extensive contacts in the Aerospace, Medical, Defanse,Energy Mining, Automotive and Packaging Industries  IOK will have clients all over the United States as well as Ireland, Germany, and China.
