General Machinist/Programmer

Patriot Companies, LLC is a full-service machining and fabrication facility. Its capabilities range from equipment repair, CNC Turning, Hass vertical milling; Prototype to Production. Painting, Fiberglass, Laser, Water jet, Press Break, Full Weld Shop

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read blue prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T.
Use micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gage and a programmable CMM.
Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
Set up machines by installing vises, and fixtures.
Maintain specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Operate and drive a forklift.
Edit G code and M code programs.
Program and Operate 3 axis horizontal CNC Mills and lathes.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Experience with Autocad fusion or like programs a plus.

Experience with ISO9000 a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.
