CNC Machine Operator- Second Shift
Hours: Monday - Friday 1:45 PM - 10:30 PM.
Pay: $23.00 an hour with a $1.00 an hour shift differential.

Job Summary:
Do you enjoy working on CNC machines?! The Hercules Sealing Products Louisville Machine Shop team is growing! The CNC Machine Operator pulls material, sets up shop orders, runs production, and inspects parts to complete shop orders. Our talented machine operators focus on machining smaller production runs and those custom seals!
 
Operating out of a state of the art, climate-controlled facility, our operators will be fabricating rubber and plastic customs seals on demand to serve our growing customer base! We are quality driven, with the opportunity for all our colleagues to earn an additional $0.40 for every hour worked per month if quality and sales objectives are achieved! We supply company paid uniforms! No metal or heat fabrication required!
 
Essential Functions:

• Inspect production parts to see they meet specifications
• Keep a clean and safe work environment
• Make complex setups and precise alignment of work pieces in the machine and manufacture to extremely close tolerances as required, based off of standard profiles.
• Perform work in a sated of the art facility, where safety and quality are the priorities.
• Work with minimal supervision, while still having access to a supportive team lead and production manager.

 
Entry Level Qualifications:

1. 2 – 3 years practical machining experience a plus.
2. Experience reading blueprints
3. Able to read calipers, micrometers, and pie tapes
4. Know how to run CNC machines (preferably Haas) and manual mills
5. Familiarity with PCs, word processing
6. Basic operating skills required, advance training available onsite!
7. Good organization, verbal, written and communication skills
8. Experience editing and writing G code preferred.
