Prospering Custom Machine Design & Build Company located in Franklinville, NJ is seeking a full-time, experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of working on a wide range of projects for many different industries.

Job Description and Requirements: 

·        Generate accurate CNC Programs from SolidWorks Models or customer drawings using      SolidWorks and SolidCAM

·        Specify, select proper tooling for CNC milling machines

·        Specify, select, design, build proper work holding fixtures

·        Setup and operate CNC milling machines

·        Inspect parts made in house and from outside shops

·        Create SolidWorks models from detail drawings

·        Create setup instruction sheets for mill operations

·        Assist other mill operators

·        Assist machine designers on manufacturability

·        Develop procedures to reduce setup and changeover time

·        Assist with machine and tool maintenance

·        Work in team environment

·        Experience in programming 3 & 4-axis Vertical Machining Centers

·        Experience with SolidWorks/SolidCam Software preferred

·        Experience in G & M Code

·        Good working knowledge and understanding of tooling and proper usage, as well as speed & feed calculation.  Materials – Aluminum, Stainless, Plastics, and Steel.

·        Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T)

·        Have general design concepts of work holding components

·        Minimum 5 yrs of CNC Programming experience

·        Skilled operation of Haas and ProtoTrak Mills & Lathes a plus

·        Experience with CNC Y-Axis Lathes a plus
